🌿 Visualizing Healing: For Yourself & For Loved Ones *A Vision Board & Sound Healing Evening* ✨ All proceeds support Maxine’s brain surgery & recovery ✨ Maxine’s Story Maxine’s mother, Miranda, has been part of the Creations Wellness community since we opened in 2023. She has attended classes in the barn and was the photographer for our youth aerialists in the 2024 showcase. Supporting this family is deeply meaningful to us—Miranda’s very first ceremony here was the day before Maxine experienced her first seizure. In Miranda’s words: “In September 2023, she had a sudden, terrifying seizure that sent us to the emergency room. That seizure led to the discovery of a serious brain infection, varicella encephalitis, and ultimately marked the start of a long and difficult medical journey. Since then, Maxine has been diagnosed with medically refractory right temporal lobe epilepsy, a form of epilepsy that doesn’t respond to medication alone. She has endured countless EEGs, MRIs, emergency visits, and multiple medication trials. Despite everything, her seizures continue, sometimes happening multiple times a week, leaving her confused, exhausted, and scared.” Maxine will undergo brain surgery at the end of August and begin her long road to recovery. Proceeds from this workshop will help her parents cover recovery-related costs. Event Details 📅 Friday, Sept 26th ⏰ 6:00–8:30 PM 📍 Creations Wellness Barn 💲 $40 per participant 👥 Limited to 15 participants What to Expect Receiving a painful diagnosis can make it hard to see hope beyond the horizon—whether for ourselves or a loved one. This evening is designed to help us: • Visualize healing for ourselves or others through intentional vision boarding. • Reflect together on questions like: - How do we remain optimistic yet realistic? - How do we dream of wellness while accepting what is? - How can our visions guide healing and resilience? • Close with sound—a guided sound bath meditation to help integrate your vision and invite healing energy. We know that a vision board isn’t a cure, and while sound has been studied for its healing effects, the body and its mysteries are far more complex than any one practice can solve. What we do have is our hearts, our compassion, and our willingness to share offerings and space. This workshop is about leaning into those gifts together.
