This shawl has a beautiful crown chakra energy to it. I have sewn three elephant buttons in the back. The elephant is related to protection and clearing obstacles. Paired with the purple, this shawl is excellent to wear in meditation when protecting the crown chakra.
 
I have also handsewn the hem with love.

I call these the "rustic open-hearted" style. What does this mean? It means that I did not create many seams or hems in some areas--they were left "as is--natural, raw form."
