About the event
This sleepover provides tween/teens with a safe and supportive environment to try new things, build confidence, and express themselves. The aerial arts, crystal singing bowl relaxation and jewelry making provide an opportunity for teens to explore their creativity and build a sense of community. This sleepover is especially empowering for youth, as they are encouraged to take risks and take pride in their accomplishments, all while having fun and connecting with other teens in their community.
Laura will lead aerial artists through an aerial arts experience including learning new skills on the aerial hammock and the aerial lyra (or hoop). This evening will also include a more relaxing Restorative Aerial Yoga  experience paired with crystal singing bowls played by Angela J. Ruesh. Together, Laura and Angela will create confidence activities and self-care discussions throughout the evening for the youth.
This will be Laura's 5th annual tween/teen sleepover that she has hosted! These sleepovers also build relationships between the youth and are an excellent confidence booster for the upcoming aerial performance showcase. Laura is also so grateful to be adding another woman, Angela, to her team this year that has an immense amount of passion for working with children! Together, we will combine our offerings for a truly enjoyable and educational evening for the girls!
