Starting in October Kathleen is offering AERIAL PILATES at Creations Wellness. Aerial Pilates, is a unique fusion of the Pilates method and Aerial Yoga. It combines the principles of Pilates with the use of a hammock or sling to support and assist the body in various Pilates exercises. This combination allows for great range of motion, deep stretches, and added fun challenges. Kathleen is combining her passion for Pilates and Aerial Yoga to provide a fun but challenging opportunity to focus on inner strength, flexibility, balance, body awareness, and overall body conditioning. The hammock provides support, allowing for modifications and variations of Pilates movements. It also adds an element of fun and playfulness to the workout. Whether you are a beginner or an expert in either Pilates or Aerial Yoga, this class is for you! How an aerial hammock can be beneficial when combined with Pilates: 1. Support and Stability: Aerial hammocks assist in maintaining good alignment, challenge balance, and increase body awareness during Pilates exercises, helping you feel more supported and confident in your movements. 2. Enhanced Flexibility: Aerial hammocks allow for a great range of motion and deep stretches, which can be especially beneficial improving their flexibility. The hammock can provide gentle traction and support during stretching exercises, helping you safely explore your flexibility limits. 3. Connection within: Aerial hammocks require you to be centered and use your powerhouse, breath and awareness to perform various exercises. By incorporating the hammock into Pilates workouts, you can strengthen your core muscles and deepen your understanding of core activation, leading to improved overall strength and stability. 4. Upcoming Sessions

Cancellation Policy

Please cancel at least 24hrs before your series/class/workshop begins so we can fill your spot. NO refunds are issued but classes are held as credits to be used within 3 months from your original scheduled series. Additionally, you are allowed to miss one class in a series and use that class as a credit for another available class. This must be rescheduled with your teacher. If your teacher has to cancel class they will reschedule or provide otherwise solution such as refunding or crediting (this will be determined by your teacher).
